The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking Full Time Storeperson and Yardperson positions to join our Logistics Team, on an exciting Construction Project in the South West of WA.

 

The Project

Civmec has been awarded a significant contract from Albemarle Lithium Pty Ltd for the delivery of a new lithium hydroxide plant to be built in Western Australia’s south-west.

 

This Project will be located in the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area, near the port town of Bunbury.

 

Civmec’s scope of works will include Structural, Mechanical and Piping with expected completion date of mid-2021.

 

This project will be on a local DIDO basis working Monday to Friday with optional Saturday work available. 

 

Interviews will commence immediately with expected mobilisations starting in the New Year, 2021!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee daily activities of the Stores department
  • Stores stock takes
  • Coordinate and assist with loading and unloading of trucks, picking orders and telehandler/forklift operations.
  • Ensure high quality control of incoming and outgoing materials and goods
  • Ensure outgoing materials and goods are properly, securely and safely packed for road transport. Prepare and check despatch paperwork
  • Working with other store persons to run an effective store area
  • Assist Supervisors to monitor the waste bins usage. Order replacement waste bins as required

 

 

About You

  • Knowledge of tooling and equipment types and ability to identify problems with simple tooling.
  • Able to use Excel and other office programs.
  • Construction Card (White Card)
  • Telehandler and Forklift ticket (desirable)
  • HR Drivers License (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years yard experience within Mining and Construction industries
