We currently have an exceptional opportunity to join our WA Maintenance team on a local DIDO role and make a significant impact to support with the Pinjarra Electric Calciner Project. This projects roster will be running Monday to Saturday's, with 10 hour days for both day and night shift.

This project will commence from the 16th of September for pre works and is due to be completed by the beginning of Dec 2024. 

The Role

  • Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape, and form steel components using correct tooling, i.e., Rota Broach, oxy and acetylene, etc.
  • Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components
  • Apply temporary bracing to ensure post-welded component is with in tolerance and dimensions
  • Straighten steel components post-welding to comply with dimensions
  • DIDO each day to Pinjarra, with an allowance of $48.00 per day paid in addition to accommodate for this. 

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Nationally recognised Trade Certificate – Boilermaker or Metal Fabrication
  • 2+ years Industrial experience as a Boilermaker
  • Previous maintenance experience within the mining and resources sector
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
