We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leading Hand to join our local team, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation for the Electric Calciner project at Alcoa Pinjarra. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, you’ll lead by example and help us achieve new heights in our projects. The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone with electrical experience and a desire to develop leadership skills! The role offers:

• Immediate start with work from Monday to Saturday.
• Sundays as the rostered day off.
• Penalty rates paid for the work schedule.
• Leadership development opportunities.
• Project duration until the beginning of December 2024, with potential for ongoing work in the new year.
• Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent and managing a team of 4 x Electricians and 4 x Electrical Trades Assistants.
• Essential instrumentation experience.

About You

Applicant Requirements:

• Licenses: Unrestricted WA Electrical License and Australian Driver’s License
• Experience: Heavy construction and maintenance experience
• Skills:
  • Installation of devices, instruments, and other electrical components
  • Interpretation of drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation
  • Cable tray, ladder, conduit installation, and cable terminations
• General Duties: Ability to perform other general duties as required
• Transportation: Own means of transport to and from the site daily
• Health & Safety: Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular/random drug and alcohol screenings
