Civmec is currently seeking an experienced SMP Supervisors on the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer Upgrade project, delivering critical work across a leading mining operation. Bring your skills, safety focus and team mindset and gain consistent work, strong support, and a crew that values your contribution. Ability to move on to another major project upon successful completion.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will:

Lead and supervise SMP crews across the BWR7 workfront.
Coordinate mechanical, piping, structural and rigging activities.
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site requirements.
Monitor daily progress and help deliver project milestones.
Work closely with engineering, quality and commissioning teams.
Mentor and support tradespeople and leading hands

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

S26 Certification - Mandatory
Trade qualification in Pipefitting, Boilermaking(highly regarded)
Tickets in Rigging and Scaffolding (highly regarded)
First Aid & CPR
Proven experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry (highly regarded)
Experience overseeing piping installation, commissioning and structural/mechanical assembly
Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
