Civmec has secured ongoing works completing BHP Maintenance and Shutdown works. The scope of works includes Civil, SMP, Electrical and Instrumentation projects and shutdowns located across the Pilbara, from Port Hedland to Newman.

 

This is a great opportunity for Riggers to join the team working on a variety of shutdowns in the Pilbara on our BHP Panel works.

The Role

  • Perform dual lifts and mathematical assessment
  • Align level and anchor machinery
  • Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chain falls, gin poles and gallows frames
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

 

  • 2+ years Industrial experience as a Rigger
  • Previous construction experience within the mining and resources (preferable)
  • Current High Risk Work License with:
  • Rigger (RI or RA) 
  • EWP (WP over 11 meters)
  • Demonstrate Fire Awareness Certificate
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card
  • Valid Working at Heights (desirable)
  • Previous BHP Iron Ore Project experience highly desirable
