This is a great opportunity to join our Electrical team working on the CSBP Tertiary Abatement Project NA2 located in Kwinana, WA. CSBP Limited, part of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy and Fertilisers (WesCEF), continues to strengthen Australia’s chemical and fertiliser capability across mining, agriculture, and industrial sectors. In partnership with Coogee Chemicals through Australian Gold Reagents (AGR), CSBP operates a world‑class Sodium Cyanide facility in Kwinana.

The Role

Working on the ammonia side of the CSBP plant, this role involves supporting electrical works during the preshut phase. Electricians will run and secure cables, complete terminations, and carry out a range of electrical installation tasks across construction and heavy‑industrial environments. The position requires broad experience across varied project settings, with key activities focused on upgrades within NAAN 2 and the tertiary abatement areas, all while working safely around live‑plant systems.

This is a full‑time role operating Monday–Thursday (10.5‑hour days), Friday (8 hours), with occasional Saturday work as required.

 

Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

 

  • Interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure installation adheres to these
  • Carry out planning tasks as requested
  • Carry out cable ladder/conduit installation
  • Complete cable installation
  • Carry out cable terminations
  • Installation of devices and instruments
  • Installation of small light and power
  • Earthing, above and underground
  • Follow quality control systems and techniques
  • Housekeeping
  • Perform other general duties as required 

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

 

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical
  • Valid WA Electrical Licence
  • Current CPR/LVR and First Aid Certification
  • Current High risk elevating work platform license
  • Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
  • Previous construction experience
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
