Civmec is currently recruiting experienced Pipe Fitters for ongoing construction and maintenance activities at CSBP, Kwinana, WA, including participation in a planned shutdown campaign scheduled for approximately 17 days in October.
Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering the CSBP Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project, a major industrial upgrade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing workforce and contribute to a complex and rewarding project within a collaborative site environment.

The Role
-
Measure, mark and prepare pipes for cutting and threading

Assemble, install and align piping systems and associated components

Plan pipe layouts and install pipework to structures and equipment

Conduct pressure testing, hydrostatic testing and system inspections

Identify, troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning pipe systems

Complete pre-start inspections and equipment checks

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality requirements and project specifications

Promote and maintain a safe workplace by adhering to all Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
About You
-
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Working Safelt at Heights Certificate
- Current High Risk Licence including - Elevated Work Platform
- Current Drivers Licence
- Nationally recognised Construcgtion Safety Awareness Card (White/Blue Card)
- Previous construction experience (minimum 2 years experience) with Carbon, Stainless Steel and Threaded Pipe
- Ability to interpret ISO drawings and PI&D
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team environment.
