Civmec are currently seeking experienced QA Electricians to support our CSBP Project which includes shut down campaigns running throughout the year as well as ongoing construction and maintenance. This work forms part of the CSBP Sodium Cyanide Expansion project in Kwinana WA and is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.

The Role

Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

  • Verify completed electrical installations against drawings, specs and standards
  • Inspect workmanship, cable routes, supports, terminations and installations
  • Perform functional, continuity and insulation resistance testing
  • Identify and document defects or non‑conformances for rectification
  • Confirm correct installation of lighting, power, instruments and earthing systems
  • Complete QA documentation, checklists, and Inspection test records
  • Develop Quality assurance Test packs where required
  • Support close‑out of punch items and readiness for energisation
  • Maintain site safety and housekeeping
  • Carry out additional QA/completion tasks as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Flexibility to work both Day and Night shift during a shutdown
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical
  • Valid WA Electrical Licence
  • Current LVR, CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
  • Previous construction experience
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
