Civmec is currently seeking experienced Tube Fitters to join our team for ongoing construction and maintenance works at CSBP in Kwinana, WA, including a planned shutdown campaign scheduled for approximately 17 days in October.

Successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of the CSBP Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project, a significant industrial upgrade. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project, alongside a skilled and collaborative workforce, within a dynamic and safety-focused site environment.

The Role

 

  • Install and assemble tube and pipe systems to project specifications
  • Install and bend 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" stainless steel tubing
  • Cut, prepare and deburr stainless steel tubing
  • Complete impulse and air tubing connections for flow control valves, on/off valves and instrumentation
  • Perform pressure and leak testing of tubing systems
  • Conduct visual inspections of fittings, supports and installed components
  • Work with Gyrolok and Swagelok tubing systems and fittings
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Available for an immediate start
  • Flexible to work both day and night shifts as required during the shutdown.
  • Current Gyrolok and Swagelok certification
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Current Working Safely at Heights certification
  • Current High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence
  • Nationally recognised Construction White Card
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Previous experience within construction, shutdown or industrial project environments
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug & alcohol screening
