This is a great opportunity to join our structural team working on the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges Project located in Victoria Park.

The Project

The Causeway Link Alliance, comprising Civmec Construction and Engineering Pty Ltd, Seymour Whyte Constructions Pty Ltd, WSP Australia Pty Ltd and Main Roads, has been appointed to design and construct this iconic Project.

The project will consist of the design and construction of two cable-stayed bridges, including a 6-metre-wide shared path linking Victoria Park foreshore, Heirisson Island and Perth’s CBD at Point Fraser

The Role

Main duties will include the alignment of the steel bridge sections and preparation for welding, including modifications.
Your Background
General boiler making duties including reading of structural drawings and working within a small team.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
•    Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card.
•    Previous construction experience.
•    Trade Certificate in Boiler making/ Metal Fabrication.
•    Working at heights (desirable).
•    Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment CPPFES2005A OR CPPFES2005 (desirable).
•    Enter and Work in Confined Space RIIWHS202D or RIIWHS202E (desirable).
•    Gas Test Atmospheres MSMWHS217 (desirable). 
•    Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening.
