The Opportunity

CBD Home every night - with a River View 

Prestigious CBD based project consisting a design and construction of two cable-stayed bridges, including a 6-meter-wide shared path linking the Victoria Park foreshore, Heirisson Island and Perth's CBD at Point Fraser. Project completion is expected in late 2024.

Opportunity for Senior Structural Engineer with a strong technical background in heavy lifts, fit-up and welding of platework / tanks, implementation of temporary works with good scheduling and work sequencing knowledge to join this Iconic Perth, Victoria Park based Causeway Bridge Project.  You will provide expertise and leadership within the project Engineering team while supporting the project team to implement procedures and policies and support subcontractors/suppliers to maintain an acceptable level of quality for the Alliance Project.

About You

Ideally your experience will include:

• Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical or construction Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong Technical Background on Heavy Lifts
•  
• Familiar with Crawler Cranes and Configurations
• Experience in the fit-up and welding of platework / tanks
• Ability to understand and implement Weld Procedures
• Experience with the implementation of Temporary Works, particularly in temporary supports
• Clear Understanding of Project Schedules and Critical Path
• Experience in Sequencing of works and developing Project Plans
