This two-year HSE Graduate Program provides structured exposure across multiple areas of the business, including corporate, manufacturing, construction (local and FIFO), and maintenance/refinery operations.
Throughout the program, graduates gain practical experience supporting operational teams and developing an understanding of Civmec’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, with a focus on safe work practices and compliance.
The Role
You’ll have the opportunity to partner with our knowledgeable HSE team and gain hands on experience in a variety of different areas, including risk assessment incident investigation, compliance management and more.
- Processing and maintaining HSE documentation, records, registers, and system data (including InControl and ChemAlert)
- Conducting HSE inspections, supporting hazard identification, and assisting with risk management activities
- Tracking and closing out HSE actions within agreed timeframes
- Preparing and issuing HSE reports, communications, and meeting materials (pre-starts, toolbox talks, minutes)
- Supporting the implementation of HSE systems, initiatives, training, inductions and site orientations
- Assisting with compliance activities, including audits, drug and alcohol testing, and emergency response preparation
About You
- A tertiary qualification in HSE or equivalent.
- Recent university graduate or about to complete your studies.
- Intermediate level across the Microsoft office suit of programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
