Civmec's Marketing and Communications team tells the story of one of Australia's leading integrated engineering and construction businesses. Based at our Henderson head office, the team delivers brand, digital, social, event and content activity that showcases our projects and people across the defence, resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Reporting into the Executive Group Manager of People & Culture, this role provides hands-on support across graphic design, video, social media, photography, event management and content. It is a varied, fast-moving and suited to someone who enjoys working across many disciplines and is eager to keep building their skills.

 

The Role

  • Create on-brand graphics and marketing collateral using Photoshop and InDesign
  • Edit video content for social and internal channels using Premiere Pro or similar
  • Support and maintain the social media content calendar
  • Capture photography and video at sites and events, assisting the team on shoots
  • Assist with internal and external event coordination
  • Develop and publish website content using WordPress or similar platforms
  • Support paid social advertising across LinkedIn and the Meta Business Suite
  • Draft media releases and written communications as required
  • Provide general support across the Marketing and Communications team

 

About You

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

  • A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design / Digital Media, or Media / Content Production
  • Hands-on graphic design experience with Photoshop and/or InDesign
  • Video editing experience using Premiere Pro or a similar tool
  • A proactive, versatile approach with the ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • Website management experience with WordPress, HubSpot, Wix or Squarespace (highly regarded)
