This is a great opportunity to join our team working on major projects within the Maintenance division. Located in Henderson, WA, you will be working closely with Project Managers, Operations Managers and senior business leaders to provide financial oversight and commercial support across a portfolio of projects.
The Role
- Compile, review and analyse monthly project and business unit financial reports, KPIs and performance metrics.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including project labour hours, costs, revenue and cash flow projections.
- Monitor project performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct financial audits and oversee project overheads, debtor management, procurement compliance and cost control processes.
- Partner with Project Managers and operational stakeholders to identify financial risks, improve reporting accuracy and drive commercial outcomes.
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Cost Controller, Senior Cost Controller or Project Controls role within Mining, Construction, Engineering or Resources industries.
- Strong understanding of project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and project lifecycles.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across project teams and senior leadership.
