Join a high-performing team supporting the building of vessels and play a pivotal role in ensuring operational readiness, quality assurance, and seamless client engagement. We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Defect & Warranty Coordinator (DWC) for a maternity cover position, with the possibility of extension.
In this key role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of client-raised defects and warranty claims, ensuring all rectification activities are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with Defence and contractual requirements. You will act as the central coordination point between technical teams, procurement, OEMs, and Defence stakeholders.
The Role
- Ensure compliance and timely escalation of defects and warranty issues.
- Drive rectification plans and ensure responsible parties meet deadlines.
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and OQE documentation.
- Raise, monitor, and track material requisitions.
- Prepare accurate cost reports for budget control and client claims.
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Experience coordinating meetings, customer deliverables, and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience supporting Defence or complex infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of Defence procurement, warranty, and defect principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Eligibility for a Baseline Security Clearance.
