Are you an experienced Project Engineer seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact?
Join our expanding team as a Senior Project Engineer and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects. We operate in sectors including mining, infrastructure, and construction, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and exceeding client expectations.
As part of our collaborative and inclusive work environment, you’ll contribute to projects that shape the future while working from our Henderson facility on a full-time basis.
The Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating activities from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with preparation of progress claims, variations, work schedules, and material requisitions.
- Attend regular progress meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and approve technical deviation/query requests, maintain registers, and ensure timely corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection/test plans, and ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications.
- Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports; compile construction work packs and test packs as required.
- Lead and support technical teams, oversee project technical aspects, and act as focal point for technical queries.
- Ensure risk assessments, quality records, and project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Previous project experience on construction projects, ideally in the mining, oil and gas sector, is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Previously worked on fabrication and installation projects, ideally in the mining, oil and gas sector
- Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools.
- Sound knowledge of Navisworks application software.
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
