Civmec is on the hunt for an Injury Management Advisor! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring injured employees are well-managed, preventing injury escalation, and facilitating their speedy return to meaningful duties. Join us full-time at our Corporate Offices in Henderson.  

 

The Role

  • Manage injured employees claims for worker’s compensation, income protection and non-work related injuries.
  • Ensure completion of the appropriate paperwork and issue to insurers, Medical Practitioners or other interested parties.
  • Complete data entry of all claims into Injury Management system.
  • Monitor external providers such as rehabilitation companies to ensure quality service.
  • Update Operational Managers with current claim status
  • Provide support and advice to projects on compliance to the injury management system
  • Develop and issue injury reports to managers as required
  • Review and update claim strategies to maintain focus on returning the employee to work
  • Claim forms issued to insurer in accordance with legislative requirement
  • Injury Report issued to Group HSE Manager within 5 days of end of month
  • Attend quarterly claims review and update files accordingly

 

About You

  • Completion of the Injury Management Coordinator course (or equivalent tertiary qualification)
  • Experience in a worker's compensation claims management role (at least 3 years)
  • Capable software skills in use of Microsoft office suite of programs
  • Experience in Mining Construction and Maintenance and / or Manufacturing sectors (preferred)
