Civmec presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic quality assurance professional to join our dynamic Henderson team. Work closely with the Group Manager Quality and the Quality Team to ensure Quality processes and procedures are audited and being implemented in line with company requirements. This role offers the perfect blend of professional growth and impactful work in a vibrant, supportive environment.
The Role
- Undertaking internal and supplier/subcontractor audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Assist in development, review, and management of quality documentation, including quality plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to project teams on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing quality performance data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
- Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO standards and company policies.
- Complete Group quality projects as required.
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Lead Auditor certification with a demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance requirements and relevant ISO standards
- Experience working with integrated management standards and ISO certifications and proven experience within ISO 9001 Quality Management.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Advisor and/or Auditor, preferably within the construction, engineering, or resources industries.
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills with the ability to prepare reports, plans, liaise with stakeholders and technical instructions
- Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Proven experience within ISO 9001 Quality Management.
