Civmec is looking for experienced Electrical Superintendents with a proven track record in delivering electrical solutions and managing vertical projects within the resources sector. This is a prime opportunity to join our Construction and Maintenance divisions and make a meaningful impact.

The Role

  • Manage and supervise electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct or participate in daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings.
  • Formulate safe methods of work in consultation with the HSE Advisor and workforce personnel. This includes safety and risk related documentation such as SWP’s, JHA’s and take 5’s.
  • Providing a forecast of labour requirements for the work area. Work with the scheduler and others to arrange appropriate resources to complete the works.
  • Lead a team of electricians to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment
  • Understanding the Project schedule and direct the day-to-day work such that the work crews meet the schedule requirements.
  • Daily reporting and providing estimates of work percentage completion
  • Liaising with other team members and the Client to identify and resolve technical queries

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • WA electrical licence 
  • Demonstrated experience (6 years minimum) within the field of construction, engineering and/or resources sector as a E&I Engineer
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and changes in priorities
  • Capacity to plan, organise and prioritise work tasks
  • High level of interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation, organisation, problem solving
  • Australian drivers licence 
  • White Card
  • S26 (preferred)
