This is a great opportunity to join our Construction Tean working on a locally based Lithium Project located in Kwinana (35km South of Perth), as an experienced Boilermaker. We have roles commencing ASAP, with project completion expected in December 2024. 

The Project

Civmec have secured a very exciting project with Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd. The scope of work covers a vast range of disciplines including structural and piping fabrication, SMP erection, refractory lining, insulation, and E&I installation works.

The Role

•    Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards
•    Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape, mark out and form steel components
•    Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components
•    Apply temporary bracing, where required, to ensure post welded component is with in tolerance and dimensions
•    Straighten steel components where applicable post welding to comply with dimensions

About You

•    You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
•    Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
•    Relevant High Risk Work License
•    3 years + Construction Experience in the Mining and Resources sector
•    Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
•    Complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
•    Working at heights ticket (Desirable)
•    Elevated Work Platform (Desirable)
