The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Open ticketed Crane Operators to join our construction team on the Covalent Lithium Refinery project.

 

This local, long-term opportunity provides project work within the metro area with a family friendly work schedule of 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly and disassembly of the crane on mob/demob
  • General day to day operating of standard and heavy lifts
  • Understand the fundamentals of crane computers
  • Experience of operating during the execution of complex lift studies
  • Experience of operating using “superlift” attachments
  • The daily inspection of the crane

About You

  • You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
  • 3 years + experience operating large Crawler cranes (275 – 500T)
  • Working at heights ticket (desirable)
  • Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
  • Relevant High Risk Work License – must have CO and RA
  • 3 years + construction experience in the mining and resources sector
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • Complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
