The Project

Civmec have secured a very exciting locally based lithium project located in Kwinana, 35km South of Perth. The scope of work covers a vast range of disciplines including structural and piping fabrication, SMP erection, refractory lining, insulation, and E&I installation works. We have roles commencing ASAP, with project completion expected in around December 2024.

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join our Construction team working on the Covalent Lithium Project located in Kwinana, 35km South of Perth.

The Role

Installation of Fabricated Items including PP Mesh, along with Lagging in Cases
Experience in Fabrication of Insulation Cladding / Sheet Metal Jobbing
Experience on all facets of insulation such as Cold, Hot, Acoustic
Ability to Develop Fittings such as Bends / Tee Pieces Equal and Un Equal
Knowledge of Sheet Metal fabrication equipment such as Folders, Guillotine, Lock - Formers, Swages
Ability to Read and Understand Technical Specification
Work with Varied Materials i.e., Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Galvanised Steel
Experience in insulation and cladding to Vessels and Tanks

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Sheet Metal Work / Light Fabrication
Relevant High Risk Work License
3 years + Construction experience in the mining and resources sector
Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
Complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
Working at Heights ticket (Desirable)
Elevated Work Platform (Desirable)
