Civmec is delivering the SMPE&I package for Iluka’s Rare Earths Refinery in Eneabba, Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths processing facility. This landmark development involves the delivery of large-scale structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works within a complex processing environment.

Join our project team as a Coordinator Completions, where you'll play a critical role in driving construction completion, commissioning readiness, and system handover activities on a major project. Working closely with project, engineering, quality, and commissioning teams, you'll ensure all systems, documentation, inspections, and testing requirements are completed efficiently and safely to support successful project delivery.

These positions are based at the Iluka Rare Earths Refinery in Eneabba, approximately 274km north of Perth, Western Australia. Civmec offers a 2:1 DIDO roster, with all transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport, giving you the opportunity to work on a nationally significant project while enjoying a balanced roster arrangement.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate construction completion and system handover activities.
Manage inspection and test record (ITR) close-out processes.
Monitor and drive punch list and defect rectification activities.
Prepare and maintain turnover packages and handover documentation.
Liaise with engineering, construction, commissioning teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
Track progress, identify risks, and support project reporting requirements.
Ensure all activities comply with project, quality, and safety standards.
Support commissioning and operational readiness objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience in construction completion, commissioning, project handover, or project coordination.
Experience working with completion management systems.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
A current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
