We are seeking a safety-focused and highly capable Rigging Supervisor to lead rigging and lifting operations on a significant construction project in Eneabba, WA. This role is pivotal in ensuring all lifting activities are planned, coordinated and executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, statutory regulations and company procedures.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will provide leadership to rigging crews while working closely with crane operators, project teams, clients and HSE personnel to deliver successful project outcomes.

The Role

  • Supervise and coordinate daily rigging and lifting operations on site.
  • Plan and execute routine, heavy and complex lifts in accordance with approved lift plans and methodologies.
  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture through risk assessments, SWMS, JHAs, toolbox talks and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate labour, equipment and crane resources to support project schedules and productivity targets.
  • Ensure lifting activities comply with project specifications, quality requirements and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct inspections of rigging equipment and lifting gear to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Monitor project progress and provide accurate reporting, documentation and lift records.
  • Liaise with crane operators, doggers, subcontractors, project management and HSE teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Mentor and support rigging personnel while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in rigging and lifting operations within mining, resources, construction, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven experience supervising rigging crews on major construction or resource projects.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating complex lifting operations.
  • Strong knowledge of crane operations, lifting gear, load handling and rigging methodologies.
  • Experience reviewing and implementing lift plans, lift studies and lifting procedures.
  • Sound understanding of HSE requirements including SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive productivity while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
