The Opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking Formwork Carpenters to join our ever growing team on a Full Time basis within our Construction Division. The roles will be FIFO from Perth on a 3:1 Roster or Local DIDO. This is a great chance to join our Construction Division and gain ongoing opportunities with Civmec!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience in formworks systems such as Peri, Meva and RMD
- Ability to be able to construct conventional formwork
- Mark and line out formwork of the drawings
- Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed
- Accurately install Cast-in's such as bolts, cast in plates, ducts etc
- Inspect and ensure formwork and temporary works are firmly secured prior to concrete pour
- Assist with steel fixing when required
- Monitor formwork throughout pours
About You
- Point of hire for the project will be Perth WA
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery
- Current high-risk Elevated Work Platform and Forklift licenses (desirable)
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate (desirable)
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
- 2-3 years experience with formwork and demonstrated knowledge of concreting and steel fixing
- Previous construction experience within mining and resources sector

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement. The hourly rate commences at $42 + Penalties, Site Allowances and Project Completion Bonus.
