We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to deliver critical electrical and civil infrastructure on site in the Pilbara. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile project while working with a respected Australian-owned engineering and construction company.
As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering civil works across multiple work fronts. You will support quality assurance processes, manage documentation, liaise with client representatives, and ensure safe and efficient project execution.
The Role
- Process material take-offs and support procurement planning
- Liaise with FMG representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, scheduling and deliveries
- Prepare and maintain the Manufacturer Data Register (MDR)
- Develop method statements and organise project testing requirements
- Produce weekly progress reports and update schedules
- Ensure field inspection checklists are completed with client representatives
- Implement and maintain quality control techniques and QA standards
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Present clear, professional documentation and records
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Demonstrated understanding of QA processes and civil construction methodologies
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in mining, oil & gas or large‑scale civil construction projects
