Civmec is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team on the Eneabba Project. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a supervisor who enjoys being on the ground, leading crews, and delivering civil works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You’ll be responsible for planning and controlling construction activities within your work area, ensuring works are completed in line with safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
The Role
- Supervise civil works to ensure schedule, productivity, and budget targets are met
- Understand allocated manhours and manage crews to achieve productivity goals
- Monitor daily progress and proactively address constraints
- Lead by example and ensure all works are completed safely and in compliance with legislation, company procedures, and the Project HSE Plan
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and workplace inspections
- Identify, assess, and control hazards using JHAs, SWPs, Take 5s, and risk assessments
- Plan and sequence works within your allocated area
- Forecast labour, plant, equipment, and material requirements
- Coordinate with schedulers, engineers, and other supervisors
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- White Card
- Recognised Australian Trade Qualification
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Working at Heights & Confined Space certification
- High Risk Licences (Dogging, Basic Rigging, EWP)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction supervision
- Strong background in project planning and resource management
- Experience in mining, resources, or heavy construction environments
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
