Civmec is seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor to join our team on the Green Iron 2:1 Fortescue Project. This role is critical to the successful delivery of piping construction works, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality and project requirements. The Piping Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision and control of piping works across the project. This includes safety leadership, resource planning, productivity management, quality compliance and reporting to ensure construction activities are delivered to schedule and budget.

The Role

The responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of piping construction
  • Deliver high-quality work aligned with Civmec and client standards
  • Drive productivity and schedule performance
  • Lead Occupational Health & Safety compliance and performance
  • Supervise piping construction works including fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning support
  • Oversee SMP piping activities across designated work areas
  • Control and coordinate work crews, subcontractors and interfaces with other disciplines
  • Manage material take-offs and support procurement requirements
  • Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas 

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • White Card 
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Trade qualification in Pipefitting, Boilermaking or Mechanical Discipline
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a piping supervisory role
  • Experience on mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of piping fabrication, installation and testing
