Our Maintenance Team in Central Queensland is expanding. We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. This position presents a great opportunity to progress in your career whilst playing a key role in our operational support team. The Role

  • Oversee and manage HSE aspects across shutdown works
  • Support risk identification and ensure activities are reduced to ALARP (As Low as Reasonably Practicable)
  • Lead incident investigations and communicate findings to project teams
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate HSE standards, programs, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Civmec’s Corporate Compliance Matrix
  • Monitor and apply regulatory updates to project systems
  • Assist in hazard investigations and ensure corrective actions address root causes

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Cert IV in WHS
  • ICAM or Taproot certification (Preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar HSE role
  • Experience using HSE management databases
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proven incident investigation capability (ICAM, Taproot)
