The Opportunity


Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Earthworks - Civil Supervisor to join one of our major project teams based in the Pilbara. We offer a family friendly  2:1 FIFO roster with competitive rates and site uplifts. 

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of construction of civil construction works onsite
  • Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
  • Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
  • Prepare and edit construction plans, maps, charts and drawings to client specifications
  • Compose weekly progress reports
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed

About You



  • Recognised Australian Trade Qualification (carpenter)
  • White Card/Blue Card
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience performing civil earthworks construction on site
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Developed interpersonal skills
  • Working at heights and Confined Space
  • Basic Dogging and Basic Rigging tickets
