The Role
- Various maintenance shutdowns and project works
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and structures
- Instruct welding personnel, coordinate jobs, evaluate job performance
- Monitor welding productivities by using accurate fit-ups and proper use of welders
- Identifying and qualifying, or obtaining the correct weld procedures
- Qualifying and organising welder qualifications
- Signing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and manufacture data records (MDR)
- Training of Welders when required
- Maintain good housekeeping across the work area
- Strong focus on Quality Assurance
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Cert 10, WTIA or CSWIP qualifications
- Demonstrated industry experience in similar role
- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
- Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular/random drug and alcohol screens
- Additional tickets will be highly regarded
