The Role

• Various maintenance shutdowns and project works
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and structures
• Instruct welding personnel, coordinate jobs, evaluate job performance
• Monitor welding productivities by using accurate fit-ups and proper use of welders
• Identifying and qualifying, or obtaining the correct weld procedures
• Qualifying and organising welder qualifications
• Signing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and manufacture data records (MDR)
• Training of Welders when required
• Maintain good housekeeping across the work area
• Strong focus on Quality Assurance

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Cert 10, WTIA or CSWIP qualifications
• Demonstrated industry experience in similar role
• Construction White Card
• Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
• Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
• Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular/random drug and alcohol screens
• Additional tickets will be highly regarded
