The Opportunity

 

Full Time

Civmec are currently seeking a Project Control Coordinator Operations, to join our Henderson based team.  You will provide strategic hands on project controls support to ensure Planning and Project Control processes and best practises are implemented in the project. Supporting site operations may require occasional travel to the project site.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

•    Perform cost control engineering and project scheduling
•    Interface with cost estimating
•    Report on cost and scheduling progress
•    Monitoring and reporting of Labour and plant productivity
•    Implement suitable systems, processes tools and procedures for the project
•    Demonstrate project controls capabilities in the areas of contracts, cost control, scheduling and business development
•    Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
•    Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
•    Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
•    Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
•    Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed

About You

 

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ previous experience in the field of project controls ideally in the mining and minerals industry
  • Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, understanding in Power BI

Preferred

  • Accreditation from a relevant professional body (i.e. PMI, PCI, EA etc)
  • ERP system experience
  • Project Variance Analysis
