The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking a Advanced Riggers to join our team, based in the Peel Region. This role is Drive in Drive out on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform dual lifts and mathematical assessment
  • Align level and anchor machinery
  •  Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving using hand and power tools
  • Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps
  • Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chainfalls, gin poles and gallows frames
  • Dismantle and store rigging equipment
  • Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gear using hand and power tools
  • Comply with industry safety and standards of working
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You

  • Australian Recognised Advanced Rigging Certification  
  • A current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • A current Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
