The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking Cabler / Optical Fibre Technicians to join our ever-growing team on a Full-Time basis within our Construction Division. The roles will be FIFO from Perth on a 3:1 Roster or Local DIDO. This is a great chance to join our Construction Division and gain ongoing opportunities with Civmec!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation, termination/splicing and testing of fibreoptic cabling
  • Installation, termination and testing of CAT6 communications cabling.
  • Perform other general duties as required

 

About You

  • 2-3 years Industrial experience
  • Certificate III in Telecommunications
  • Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector (preferable)

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement. The hourly rate commences at $43.61 Penalties, Site Allowances and Project Completion Bonus.
