The Role
Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded a Concrete and Field Erect Tanks Package which is a civil scope of works that will kick off in May 2025 with project completion scheduled for early 2026. The scope includes excavating, formworks, reinforcement, final trim and back fill.
This project is based in the Mid-Western Region, W.A and offers a 2:1 roster to all personnel, offering better work-life balance to our employees. Transportation to and from site is provided from Perth Airport.
Responsibilities include:
- Mark and line out formwork
- Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed
- Perform second fixing
- Assist with steel fixing when required
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Complete placing of concrete
- Carry out planning tasks as requested
- Perform other general duties as required

About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Nationally recognised Trade Certification in Carpentry & Joinery (essential)
- Minimum 2+ years' industry experience working as a Carpenter
- Previous civil construction experience within the mining and resources sectors (preferable)
- HRWL with EWP (over 11 meters)
- Valid Working at Heights certification (preferable)
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card (White Card)
