This is a great opportunity to join our Contracts Team working on our exciting Causeway Project based in Perth. 
 

The Role

 

  • Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project
  • Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes and notify clients of special circumstances, breaches of contract
  • Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project as well as liaising with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (ie workers compensation)
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required including maintaining company standards for Quality Assurance and any other general duties required to suit operational requirements

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Lead by example and promote a proactive approach to health and safety at all times
  • Uphold Civmec's “Never Assume” philosophy or other cultural awareness programs
  • Self-leadership through adherence to the “Fitness for Work Procedure” including drug and alcohol guidelines
  • Work with due care to protect the environment with consideration for local communities

 

  • Significant knowledge in Commercial and Contractual Administration roles within the Construction Sector
  • Previously worked on Construction projects, significantly worked in site-based roles
  • Strong understanding of commercial management and project controls
  • Previously been in a Senior job role or similar leadership position
