The Opportunity


 This position is based in our Corporate Office - Henderson WA.


Civmec are in search of  an  experienced Contract Administrator to assist in the successful delivery of a major project within its Engineering & Construction division.  This role will allow the successful candidate to develop an established career and contribute to a successful project delivery by assisting the project team with management of key commercial and cost control matters.


You will already have construction experience in delivering projects with an established record of successful commercial outcomes that focus on contract compliance and relationship optimisation. 



Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist project team in the formation and notification of variations and daywork claims;
  • Provide the project team with commercial guidance and information to ensure Civmec complies with its Contractual obligations;
  • Attend weekly site meetings representing Civmec’s commercial interests;
  • Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project;
  • Draft formal correspondence to the client and suppliers as required by the Project Manager or Commercial Manager;
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant obligations are complied with;
  • Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project;
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions;
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes;
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required;

About You




  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role is advantageous 
  • Demonstrated experience in Quantity Surveying/Contracts Administration within the  construction industry
