The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator with a strong background in major civil construction projects to join our team based in South West WA on a Landmark Lithium processing plant construction project.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager to review contractual obligations and contract templates 
  • Attend weekly site meetings 
  • Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project 
  • Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes 
  • Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers 
  •  Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract 
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation) 
  •  Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project 
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions 
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes 
  • Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested 
  •  Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required 

About You

  • Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar field 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying / Contracts Administration within the civil construction industry 
  • Previous experience in large scale civil projects working with large volumes of concrete
  • Highly motivated with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
