Expressions of interest open

Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest for upcoming work - we will have an opportunity for a dedicated Contracts Administrator to join our Pre-cast team in Tomago NSW.

This is a pivotal liaison role in which you will provide advice to project teams and subcontractors, liaise with the client and directly support the Project Manager in preparing contract templates, reviewing contractual obligations and manage compliance costings and documentation.



Other responsibilities will include

  • Review contractual obligations and contract templates 
  • Attend weekly site meetings 
  • Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project 
  • Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes 
  • Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers 
  • Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract 
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation) 
  • Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project 
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions 
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes 
  • Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested 
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required 
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed

About You


  • Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar field is preferred
  • You will need to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience with Contracts Administration idealy from within the civil construction industry
