Civmec is delivering key civil and structural works for the Perth Parks Project on the Burswood Peninsula — a major new entertainment, recreation and sporting precinct for Western Australia. The project includes a 12,000‑seat outdoor amphitheatre, a multi‑use events building, and a multi‑use racetrack for cycling and motorsport events. We are now seeking experienced Crane Operators to support the construction of this high‑profile, city‑shaping project. 

The Role

  • Operate 80T rough‑terrain cranes and 25T Frannas to support civil and structural construction activities
  • Execute all lifting operations in accordance with lift plans, site procedures and safety requirements
  • Work closely with riggers, dogmen, supervisors and engineering teams to ensure safe, coordinated lifts
  • Conduct daily pre‑start checks, routine inspections and basic maintenance on cranes
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with ground crews during lifting operations
  • Assist with general site duties when required to support project progress

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • CO High‑Risk Work Licence, with demonstrated experience operating 80T rough‑terrain cranes and 25T Frannas on major civil, structural or infrastructure projects
  • Valid White Card (Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card)
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Crane VOC (Verification of Competency) – highly desirable
