The Opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a local opportunity based in Henderson WA to assist with the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with subcontractors regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Process material take-offs
- Organise project testing requirements
- Compose weekly progress reports
- Update schedules as required
- Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of five years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects with a mix of mechanical, structural and civil experience
- Experience in the erection of structural steel and concrete
- Highly motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
