The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a local opportunity based in Henderson WA to assist with the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with subcontractors regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
• Process material take-offs
• Organise project testing requirements
• Compose weekly progress reports
• Update schedules as required
• Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
• Understand and implement quality control techniques
• Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
• Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of five years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects with a mix of mechanical, structural and civil experience
• Experience in the erection of structural steel and concrete
• Highly motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
