Take on a key role as a Mechanical Fitter with BHP’s rolling maintenance team, delivering critical work across a leading mining operation. Bring your skills, safety focus and team mindset and gain consistent work, strong support, and a crew that values your contribution.
The Role
- Maintenance and replacement of fixed plant equipment
- Assembly, fitting, and commissioning of mechanical systems and machinery
- Installation and servicing of auxiliary systems
- Fault finding, breakdown response and preventative maintenance
- Working to drawings, tolerances and maintenance procedures
About You
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• 5 years expereince in maintenance
• Construction White Card
• Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
• Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
• Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
