The Opportunity

 

Civmec are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team working across various construction and maintenance projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Perform mechanical repairs and servicing of various civil and workshop plant and machinery
• Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
• Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials
• Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
• Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
• Conduct marking and lining out
• Perform planning tasks as requested

About You

 

• You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
• Relevant Certificates / Trade certificates
• Working a heights ticket (desirable)
• Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
• 3 years + construction experience in the mining and resources sector
• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
• Complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement. The hourly rate commences at $40.84 + Penalties.
