The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing SMP projects to join our team.

This role will be based in Henderson, with travel to site required during project periods (Generally FIFO 2:1 roster).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and work to the safety and quality management systems procedures and work instructions
  • Control and coordination of execution of the project within limits of authority
  • Ensure the company's objectives and policies are adhered to
  • Encourage a culture continuous improvement of the company’s procedures
  • Attend operations meetings
  • Preparation and issue of weekly status reports
  • Maintain project files
  • Preparation of work schedules
  • Preparation of material requisitions
  • Preparation of budget estimates
  • Control project communications (i.e. correspondence, transmittals, faxes, electronic mail, etc.)
  • Review and approve the project audit schedule
  • Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
  • Take timely corrective action to address any issued non conformances
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed

About You


  • Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical, civil engineering or construction management
  • Sound and establish Project Execution Knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Responsible HSE attitude
