Take on a key shutdown role as a Refractory Tradesperson supporting major operations at Wagerup in the South West. Be part of a reliable DIDO crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance works on one of the region’s most important industrial sites. Bring your refractory expertise, strong safety focus, and team mindset — and we’ll support you with consistent shutdown opportunities, solid site backing, and a crew that values your skills.

The Role

  • Interpret engineering and detail drawings, specifications and standards
  • Assists Refractory Installation Assistant with the preparation and completion of a job.
  • Installs a full range of refractory materials under the supervision of a more experienced Supervisor.
  • Advance Nozzleman skills along with trowelling, concrete and ceasefire pump skills
  • Ability to manufacture and install formwork from drawings or prints associated with refractory installation.
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate 
  • 2 years experience in refractory
  • Construction White Card
  • Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
  • Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
