This is a great opportunity to join our growing Maintenance, refineries and smelters division.

This long term project work is based in Bunbury Monday - Friday 50 hours week. 

 
 

The Role

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Maintain compliance to all HSE requirements and ensure Civmec’s employees work in a safe manner.

Conduct regular audits and inspections, actively participate in leadership engagement initiatives and meet to discuss and refresh HSES initiatives. 

Review/update the project resource plans and schedules for all resources, including staff, wages, plant, subcontracts, materials, small tools and consumables to ensure works are completed effectively. 

Regularly monitor and review the performance of all direct reports in accordance with Civmec’s Employee Relations processes. 

Maintain an up-to-date Project Risk Register. 

Ensure that change control impact identification, report preparation and process monitoring is performed consistently. 

Provide input into methodology review. 

Review and provide input to the maintenance/shutdown programme and completion schedule and delegates activities for daily of field schedule requirements. 

Establish and maintain effective communications with the Company’s representative, Project Manager and field staff. 

Ensure any workplace grievances are resolved at the supervisory level. 

Provide accurate reports are completed as required. 

About You

 

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
 

Qualifications    

  • Management Qualification.
  • Blue/White Card
  • C Class Driver’s License.
  • Trade Qualification.

 

Experience

  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Sound and established Project Execution knowledge.

 

Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, lead and manage subcontractors.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
