Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded the Concrete and Field Erect Tanks package for Iluka’s Rare Earth Refinery in Eneabba.  This civil works project commenced in May 2025 and is scheduled for project completion in early 2026. The scope includes excavation, formwork, reinforcement, final trim, and backfill.

We’re currently seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to join our Construction team on this exciting project. Located approximately 274km north of Perth, the site offers a 2:1 roster to support better work-life balance, with transport provided to and from Perth Airport.

The Role

  • Supervise civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete structures, and site preparation.
  • Be familiar with construction components including earthworks, services, concrete procedures and statutory requirements
  • Plan work activities and identify hazards and controls in consultation with employees
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections and project scheduling
  • Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
  • Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities
  • Conduct and record site inspections and risk assessments (including Hazard ID, risk analysis and control)
  • Communicate and report on HSE issues/incidents (e.g. toolbox meetings) and participate in the resolution of HSE issues

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in construction. 
  • WA Statutory Supervisor S26 Qualification 
  • Demonstrated experience performing detailed civil earthworks, drainage, kerbing, asphalt, and hard landscaping.
  • Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills.
