Civmec is proud to be supporting Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources with a further package of work for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility. As Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone development is driving innovation—and we’re building a skilled team to help bring it to life. The Eneabba facility processes monazite concentrate from Iluka’s mineral sands operations, with production having commenced in 2026. We’re currently seeking experienced Polywelders to join our Construction division on a long‑term project. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA’s Mid‑West.

Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid West Region) 
Roster: 2:1 Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) – Bus transport provided to and from Perth

The Role

  • Site HDPE fabrication carrying out butt welding, electrofusion welding, and pipe preparation to project specifications
  • Installing, aligning, and securing HDPE piping systems across processing plant
  • Conducting weld testing, QA documentation, and ensuring compliance with Civmec and Iluka standards
  • Working closely with supervisors and other trades to meet project milestones
  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and adherence to site procedures
  • Perform labouring/other general duties when required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
  • RIIWHS204D or RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
  • RIIWHS202D or RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
  • Previous experience on construction projects & 
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP) – Preferred although not mandatory
