The Opportunity

Civmec is hiring and we want you! We are currently looking for Boilermakers to join our Maintenance Core Crew for ongoing works based on Roy Hill, Murrin Murrin and Karara . We have several positions available for immediate start with ongoing work. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fixed plant planned maintenance
  • General fabrications
  • Parent metal repairs on fixed plant equipment
  • Transfer chute repairs and wear liner change outs
  • HPGR maintenance change outs
  • Primary crusher maintenance and rebuilds
  • Ball mill maintenance
  • Secondary crusher maintenance and rebuilds
  • Attend breakdowns as required
  • Vibrating screen and feeder maintenance and change outs
  • Maintenance and change outs
  • Competent use of a thermal lance
  • Competent use of arc air gouging equipment
  • Competent welding capabilities
  • Comply with all direction given by the KML supervision
  • Comply with all KML policies and procedures as set out in the online onboarding inductions
  • Always uphold all Civmec company values and critical safety essentials

About You

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights ticket
  • MSIC (desirable)
  • Flexible to work Days/Nights
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and regular Drug and Alcohol screens
