Are you a meticulous Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector with a passion for ensuring top-notch standards in Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) projects? Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in maintaining excellence in our operations!

The Role

  • Conduct thorough inspections of structural, mechanical, and piping components to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformances and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records of inspection findings, test results, and quality control measures for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations, material inspections, and weld inspections to uphold quality standards throughout the supply chain.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the SMP sector, preferably in heavy industrial or construction settings.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, API, ASTM) pertaining to SMP disciplines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
